Start Smart: Tools for Beginning Farmers

Start Smart is an event that Accu-Steel alongside of the Coalition to Support Iowa Farmers, IPTVs Market to Market, and the Iowa State Fair will be hosting. This event will take place on August 15th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Penningroth Media Center in the Cattle Barn at the Iowa State Fair Grounds. At this event you will hear from experts about things such as understanding the financial programs that are available, learning how to manage risk, and how to develop a business plan to set up your farming operation. Delaney Howell, host of Iowa Public Television’s Market to Market – will be moderating a discussion between the experts.
